The Adam Keeling House is one of the most visited sites in Virginia Beach when it comes to history and architecture. Although it is not really ready for visitation as with other historic homes in Virginia Beach, you can take a peek from the street and admire its elegance and uniqueness.
Virginia Beach town houses different museums, historic properties, sites and spots. One of these historic properties is the Adam Keeling House. It is owned by the Keeling family and is situated in suburban area of Virginia Beach. The features of the home make it more interesting as it is unique as deemed by many according to studies.
The home is designed in English colonial style. It was completed sometime in 1680 one of the oldest surviving home in the town. From the street you can gaze at the cemetery whose graves belong to the Keeling family. Although it is not ready for tours, anyone can look at it from the street. You and your family can drive by and take pictures of the beauty of history and architecture incorporated in one family home built in the 1600’s.
